What are NomiLights?
NomiLights are light-up nighttime accessories to be worn in the hair for fun and pleasure. They also look beautiful adorning a bedside table ~ how romantic!
How do they light-up?
There is an on-off swich on the bottom that lights up an LED which runs off a small coin/watch battery.
How come they are so mesmerizing?
Thank you for saying so! There is an electronic chip in the mechanism which fluctuates the flow of electricity to the bulb, thereby making them glow and flicker! Plus they are just showing how beautiful *you* are!
How long do the batteries last?
The batteries last for over 80 hours of continuous use. Although we recommend turning off your NomiLight when not in use. (Why waste them in the daylight hours!) The batteries are also easily replaceable, so they are re-usable and environmentally aware.
How do I replace the batteries?
Gently open battery door on bottom of NomiLight, this is covered with our hair clip and logo tag, remove old battery, replace with new CR2032 battery, also known as a watch battery. You can get these at most drugstores. Insert new battery, making sure that the + sign is facing up. Replace door. Ta-da! You are fresh and ready for new adventures!
I have short, fine, or silky hair, do you have any tricks to help my NomiLight stay in?
Yes! My favorite trick to help them stay in, is to take two bobby-pins, put them in your hair one at a time, close to the scalp, at a right angle to each other so they form an 'x'. This has a pretty good hold. Then you can clip your NomiLight right into that foundation. It helps with dancing too :)
Can anyone use or play with NomiLights?
While many are attracted to their beauty, we recommend keeping NomiLights away from children under the age of six (and pets) as parts of them could be a choking hazard. Also note that they are not waterproof and should be kept away from water (including rain and hottubs).
Will wearing a NomiLight make me more attractive, popular, or more likely to fall in love?
While official scientific research is yet to be conducted, we think so, yes!
